Description: The urban permaculture farm project focuses on developing organic farming production facilities by using the natural resources available around the small garden, which they manage independently for communities. They carry the mission of liberating farmers from the influence of middlemen who cause many losses to farmers. Until, in early 2018, in cooperation with Bhumi Horta, many communities decided to develop a permaculture garden in their area along with agricultural volunteers in Semarang City and the surrounding.

Type of Work: Volunteers will support activities managed by Bhumi Horta. We intend to create a garden that applies the principles of permaculture in a sustainable manner. To make this happen, farmers and volunteers are starting a goat farm and an organic fertilizer production center for the organic farming community in Semarang city. Gradually, the community garden will become a sustainable and educational agricultural system.

Work: Producing Organic Fertilizer in Livestock Areas, Creating a Permaculture Garden, Participating in local community activities, Organizing a farming workshop about permaculture principles implementation, and Supporting local activities

Study Theme: Aims:

Create an organic fertilizer center for each plant growth
Creating a sustainable organic farming education center for the community
